After a lengthy tender process starting in the Winter of 2014, including extensive field trials across the Group, Admiral is pleased to announce it has successfully retained its contract with the Britannia Group, which includes both the Britannia Hotel chain and the Pontins holiday resorts
The Britannia Hotel Group was founded in 1967 with a 100 bedroom hotel in South Manchester and now comprises of 47 hotels with over 9000 bedrooms and 6 Pontins resorts and is now the largest privately owned hotel chain in the UK.
Britannia Hotels are committed to providing clients with great value for money and, like Admiral, adopt a no nonsense approach to customer satisfaction at a time when it has become an increasingly important factor to companies and individuals when making buying decisions.

The company has a longstanding relationship with the Britannia Group, having first secured an Agreement to Supply in 2008. Darren said “Because of our experience in dealing with this type of demanding contract, it became the cornerstone of our negotiations to focus heavily on our service pedigree and not get too hung up about the lowest price possible. This type of leisure sector contract cannot live without close attention to detail, and we are totally focussed on ensuring the guest experience is a positive one.
